Frequently asked questions
There are multiple ways to set up our fingerprint padlocks.
Download the correct app as instructed from the user manual included or the Amazon store page.
Create an account with an email or phone number.
Scan the QR code included or use Bluetooth to scan for your lock.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on your phone/device and you tap the lock sensor to wake up when scanning.
Register your lock and add fingerprints.

If your fingerprint lock won't open you can first tap the lock sensor to see if it is lighting up. If it is not lighting up you may need to plug it in to charge and open it while charging.
If your lock still lights up but doesn't respond to your fingerprints make sure your fingers are dry and clean. You may also try opening via bluetooth from the app or add new fingerprints to open with those new fingerprints.

Plug the lock in with the included power cable and try locking or unlocking the shackle. You can try using your fingerprint but it is recommended to use the app.
Put the lock near your ear and toggle the lock and unlock feature using your fingerprint/app and listen for the motor sounds from when the lock normally operates. If you hear the motor, try pressing the lock shackle down into the locked position and toggle the lock and unlock feature via fingerprint/app. You can also try finding a wooden stick or hard surface to tap the lock shackle and the bottom of the lock in case the gears are stuck.
If you do not hear the motor sounds from the previous step the lock mechanism internals are most likely broken.
